Did you know that you can listen to the radio online?

Here you have a free tool, Phonostar-Player, that allows us to listen to more than 4,000 international radio stations with the computer. Furthermore it offers us the option of recording the station that we are listening to and it has also the possibility of downloading podcasts.

Once downloaded, the program is in German, but the installation has no problem at all.

What is a podcast?

On the side bar you have a list of podcasts about 'learning English as a second language'. But what is a podcast? It is a file which can be downloaded and to which you can subscribe so that you are sent the new updated information. In this way you can listen to your favourite program every morning on your mobile phone on your way to school.

Podcast can be audio files or video files. It can be sent to your email address or to your web (eg a blog like in this case).
